The natural world is the ultimate life support system, producing fresh air, clean water, fertile soil, rich biodiversity, and a stable climate, and it has an awesome recycling system. The more plants, animal, fungi and microbes, the healthier the system.

Research shows that people who were once in the minority can create tipping points for societal transformation. The need for this has never been greater in the face of the planetary emergency. Connected communities can tackle challenges better when they face them together.

Roughly half of the planet’s habitable land is used to produce food for humans. The way food is grown, reared and produced can do great harm or great good. Today it's the leading cause of habitat destruction, biodiversity loss, water pollution and freshwater extraction, but there are many solutions.
