We’ll be carrying out planned website maintenance on Tuesday 29 September from 4pm, so the website may be temporarily unavailable during this time.

Early Years activities

During term-time, we run an exciting programme of nature-based activities for under fives and their accompanying adults, to help little ones connect with Eden Project's plants and the natural world. These sessions must be pre-booked.

Why we run these activities

The foundations for virtually every aspect of human development – physical, intellectual, and emotional – are laid in early childhood. What happens during these early years has lifelong effects on many aspects of health and well-being from educational achievement and economic status to obesity, heart disease and mental health.

The early years are crucial for children’s development and early experiences shape the way we think and react for the rest of our lives. It's our mission to demonstrate and inspire positive action for the planet, and Eden Project’s gardens provide rich opportunities to learn and explore and a diversity of experiences. We’ve developed a programme of activities for under fives and their families, to help them connect with Eden Project’s living collection and the natural world.
