Dawn George
Chief People and Culture Officer
Dawn has been with Eden since 2011, joining originally as Head of HR, promoted to Director of HR & Inclusion in 2018, and has recently moved to the role of Chief People and Culture Officer. Dawn was part of the team who led Eden through periods of major change in 2013 and 2020.
Bio
Dawn’s early career in HR was with Cable and Wireless where she studied for her CIPD Diploma and then Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management, she is now a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), with 30 years practicing post qualification experience.
Before moving to Cornwall and joining Eden, Dawn spent over 25 years working in senior roles for large blue chip organisations, including Carphone Warehouse, TalkTalk and Aviva. This included major change programmes, supporting the setup of offshore locations as well as managing HR functions across multiple locations. Dawn has a particular interest in culture, values and employee engagement as well as holding the remit for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for Eden (both for our People Team and our visitors).
