Jon Watts

Jon joined Eden as a trustee in July 2023 and chairs the Finance Committee.  He spent most of his career in international businesses, including as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Unilever in Latin American and Director of Finance and Control for SABMiller PLC.  He subsequently became global CFO for Save the Children and then for the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF).

Jon is a director of the Environment Agency and is on the supervisory board of the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office.  He also acts as an advisor to charitable foundations and NGOs, mainly ones working on climate change.

Jon’s career involved 10 years living and working abroad but he now lives in Cornwall where he feels very much at home.
