Taking place from March 29 to April 14, the attraction will welcome in the joys of spring with Springfest – a lively event, filled with games galore for the whole family to enjoy.
At the heart of the action will be a series of entertaining games, each exploring our relationship with food. Visitors can compete in a round of milk bottle skittles, try their hand at hoopla and follow the journey of food, from field to fork, with buzz wires.
In addition, guests can also take part in an egg-themed scavenger hunt and a large-scale marble labyrinth-style game exploring the pros and cons of different diets.
For the younger members of the family, there will be a play zone for under-fives. Here, children will be able to join in a spin-a-dinner game, move around a bread-themed scooter track and play dress-up in their own mini shop or stall.
Children will receive stamps for completing activities and once enough stamps have been collected, they will be able to choose from a selection of prizes.
The fun continues in the Tipi, where there will be a series of drop-in food-based board games and a craft zone for everyone to enjoy.
In the middle of the Eden Project site guests will find a colourful pop-up market showcasing a number of Eden’s local suppliers. Here, they will be able to purchase bread, jams and chutneys, brownies, skincare products and produce grown in the Eden Project's new geothermally-heated, state-of-the-art nursery, Growing Point.
In the Mediterranean Biome, the Citrus Grove will play host to a competitive rainbow food quiz. Taking place twice daily, the audience will be split into four teams to answer questions and take on challenges to win points.
Meanwhile, in the Rainforest Biome, a special trail will highlight the ingredients used to make and flavour chocolate. Children who complete the trail by solving a series of clues and riddles will be able to claim their own sweet treat as a reward.

“Spring is such a wonderful time to explore everything the Eden Project has to offer, both in our Biomes and our beautiful Outdoor Gardens. Our games, challenges and activities on offer across the site means there is something for everyone to get involved in. We can’t wait to welcome our guests for what will be a lively Easter event.”
