The spooky Halloweden event takes place every day from Saturday October 23 to Sunday October 31.
New activities this year include a special show created for Eden by the award-winning Bakehouse Factory.
The theatrical company specialise in delivering immersive and interactive events and will perform daily in the Mediterranean Biome, telling an enchanting tale based around their fabulous three-metre tall owl.
Elsewhere a new puzzle trail brings the family together to solve a series of clues. The trail has been developed in partnership with Eureka Escape who run popular Escape Rooms in Truro and Penzance.
Visitors can also pay a visit to some feathered friends courtesy of Screech Owl Sanctuary, who will be returning to Eden with their beautiful owls.
Taking place in a mystical tipi, a new 40-minute magical potion-making experience features enchanting storytelling, some mysterious apothecary owners, and the opportunity for visitors to make their very own positive potion to take away.
Suitable for children aged five and older, every entry to the potions experience requires a pre-booked ticket (costing £5), plus a valid form of Eden admission, Annual Pass or Locals’ Pass or Eden Project Membership. The experience takes place six times a day.
Kate Francis, Producer with Eden Live Productions, said: “We’re really excited to bring a range of new fun activities to visitors to Eden this half-term. A special welcome to our friends from Bakehouse Factory, Eureka Escape and the Screech Owl Sanctuary.
“It’s always wonderful to welcome our visitors back on to the rink and it’s exciting to think that they will be able to enjoy the ice all the way through to February.”
Forty-minute general sessions for skaters of any age and ability are currently available to book up until Thursday December 2 via the Eden Project website www.edenproject.com. Sessions cost £8 per adult and £7 per child. Valid entry to Eden is also required. This year sees the return of ice-skating lessons, with sessions again bookable online.
Eden will also be running a relaxed session for the half-term activities on Sunday October 31.
The Project will open at 8.30am that day to allow those who may benefit from a more informal experience, such as those with autism and sensory or communication needs, to enjoy the site at their own pace.
As part of the relaxed experience, visitors be able to see a performance from Bakehouse Factory, follow the puzzle trail and additionally book a place on the Potion Making Workshop, which will take place at 10am (additional cost applies for the workshop).
