Eden, which debuted in its Safari World role in the award-winning Andy’s Safari Adventures in 2018, reprises its role in the new series, providing the backdrop for Andy Day’s epic adventures through Safari World's aqua base.

Andy, with help from his tech-wizard assistant Jen, will come face-to-face with turtles, polar bears and fascinating fish from all over the world as they try to solve problems before their boss, Mr Hammond, notices anything is wrong.

The sequences featuring Eden were shot before the Covid-19 pandemic, with the Biomes, outdoor gardens and other Eden buildings being transformed into Safari World using computer-generated imagery (CGI).

Andy’s Aquatic Adventures is the fifth CBeebies wildlife series hosted by the presenter, following Andy’s Wild Adventures, Andy’s Dinosaur Adventures, Andy’s Prehistoric Adventures and Andy’s Safari Adventures.

The series is produced by the world-renowned BBC Studios Natural History Unit, who have created numerous landmark programmes, including Seven Worlds One Planet, Dynasties and Blue Planet II.

Emma Evans, Eden’s Marketing Director, said: “It’s fantastic to see Andy returning to our screens and it’s great to see Eden back as Safari World too. The series is an excellent way for children to learn about the wonders of the natural world in a fun and engaging way and we’re proud to be involved.”

Andy’s Aquatic Adventures starts today at 4.30pm on CBeebies, continuing at the same time every weekday. For more information, see www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies.
