Taking place on Thursday 23rd November with a Preview & Shopping Evening the night before, this year's event is set to be the biggest and most significant yet. As well as celebrating its tenth year at the Eden Project where the fair has a glittering home nestled between the biomes in the Link Building, the 2023 edition of the fair has an impressive ambition to smash through the £1 million fundraising mark.
"We're pulling out all the stops to hit our fundraising target," explains Co-Chair Kate Holborow. "This year's event is going to have more sparkle than ever before with a host of over 60 incredible stalls selling everything from beautiful handmade jewellery to homeware and artisan food and drink in The Cornwall Bakery Food Hall. There are also some very special prizes up for grabs such as in The Rodda’s Cornish Pot of Gold Hunt and the Grand Cornwall Christmas Fair Prize Draw, sponsored by Stacks Property Search.”
To boost the landmark event, a raft of new sponsors have come on board this year, including Wildanet, Whyfield and Seasalt Cornwall, while long-term supporter Lillicrap Chilcott has become headline sponsor of the Preview Evening. Alongside the volunteers who coordinate the extraordinary event in their own time to support struggling communities across Cornwall, the sponsors give generously to the fair and have a range of surprises on offer for fair goers, including the chance to sample a very exciting new Cornish sparkling wine from Healeys Vineyard during the Preview & Shopping Evening.
"Last year's event sold out so it's best to grab a ticket while you can," warns Kate. "Join us to soak up the festive atmosphere, do some Christmas shopping and support Cornwall Community Foundation which does such amazing work around Cornwall."
