The mystical giants need help to protect the world’s forests. Visitors will embark on a magical quest to uncover the Tree Giants’ hiding places, discover their ancient wisdom, hear extraordinary tales and experience immersive performances.
There are three giants to meet around the Eden site, the tallest standing at a staggering 8 metres. Each of the giants is interactive and has its own enchanting story to discover.
Tamsyn Lewis, Eden’s Live Events Producer, said: “This time of year at Eden holds a special place in our hearts. We’re surrounded by beautiful, changing autumn colours and we love transforming the site into a magical playground of nature discovery.
“This Halloweden, visitors can meet our mesmerising Tree Giants and learn about how we rely on forests for biodiversity, climate regulation, food, fuel, material, medicine, and health and wellbeing. Families are invited to get up close to hear their secrets and learn how to become a forest guardian.”
Elsewhere on site there will be drop-in craft sessions and the Tipi will play host to bewitching Wand Making Workshops, complete with tales and guidance on crafting a magical wand to take home. Each session will take place on the hour between 11am and 4pm, lasting 40 minutes each.
Eden’s glittering ice rink will once again return from 14 October until February 2024, donning spooktacular decorations for the October half term. General skating, family fun sessions, parent and toddler, and ice skating lessons are available to book throughout the season.
Relaxed sessions are available to book for those who may benefit from a more informal experience, including those with autism and sensory or communication needs, to be able to enjoy the site and experiences at their own pace.
Wand Making Workshops are pre-bookable online. To find out more, and to get the best rate, pre-book tickets online at edenproject.com.
