Luka is renowned for his dynamic blend of classical and crossover solo performances, as well as his role in the global sensation 2Cellos, where he shared the stage with legends such as Sir Elton John, playing to massive arenas and stadiums worldwide.
The music video for Life, released today, (March 22), sees Luka performing the track in multiple locations inside the Rainforest Biome, including the Look Out, a platform suspended high above the canopy. The video also includes scenes filmed at Bodinnick near Fowey.
The scenes at the Eden Project were shot after the popular visitor attraction had closed to the public, allowing Luka the opportunity to express his creativity and perform the track live within the natural elements of the Rainforest with only a small team accompanying him.
The music video also features some impressive drone footage captured by Luka and his team, giving an intriguing look at the Biome as well as the Eden Project’s outdoor setting.
The video for Life can be viewed on Luka’s official channel on YouTube.
Luka said: “I would like to personally thank the team at the Eden Project for allowing me to film at their amazing site. It was incredible experience, to be in such a unique location, on a summer's evening, playing cello and flying drones inside the Biome!
“Life is a symphony of nature's beauty, captured in the mesmerizing beauty of the Eden Project and in Cornwall. This composition embodies the essence of our journey, reminding us of the precious moments and the resilience within us."
The unveiling of the music video coincides with the release of Luka’s new album of the same name, Life, which is also released today.
The album is Luka’s debut as a composer and arranger and sees him return to his roots to create music with an evocative sound world, enriched with luscious harmonies, soaring strings and a cello line of transcendent beauty.
The album, Life, is available now on all streaming platforms. Physical CD copies can be purchased through Luka’s official website.
