Universal Credit / Pension Credit Day Ticket

We strongly recommend you book your Day Ticket in advance using the book button at the top of this page to ensure that you get the date and time of your choice. There may be a few tickets available on the gate at entry, but these are by no means guaranteed, especially at popular times. 

You will be required to show proof of either your Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Employment and Support Allowance or other UK legacy benefit on arrival. Find out how to get a proof of benefit letter.

An ID or identifiable proof of the visitor matching the details of the proof of benefit letter will be required on arrival.

The proof of benefits letter must be dated within 12 months of the day of your visit.

Yes, you can purchase these Day Tickets for up to two adults and two children 5-16 (under 5s go free) from the same household. Adult tickets cost £5, and children (5-16) cost £1 each. Children under 5 remain free all year round, but will still need a valid timed entry ticket. When booking online, please select the number of visitors that will come with you (up to a maximum of four visitors from the same household). Please note any other visitors will also need a valid form of admission.

The offer is available for visitors receiving Universal Credit, Pension Credit or UK Legacy Benefits such as: Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Attendance Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Housing Benefit, Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA), Child Tax Credits (CTC), Working Tax Credits (WTC) and Income Support. An identifiable proof of the visitor as a recipient of any of the list above will be required on arrival.

Locals' Passes are valid for a year from the day of purchase and are not refundable. If you normally renew your Locals’ Pass via Direct Debit and would like to cancel it, please let us know before your next renewal date. We will notify you by email (or post if you have requested) about your automatic renewal at least 10 working days in advance of the renewal date, as agreed in the Direct Debit guarantee, and this will include details of how to cancel your Direct Debit if you wish to do so. After this day, pass holders can still cancel with their bank.

Please note that your Locals’ Pass gives you unlimited access to Eden Project for one year from the day of purchase, and this new ticket is only valid for one day.

The Day Ticket is only valid for one day. If you’d like to visit again, you’ll have to purchase another ticket. If you live in Cornwall or Devon you can purchase a Locals’ Pass at certain times during the year.
