As daylight fades, our iconic Biomes become a breathtaking dreamscape of sparkle and colour. Enter into an other-worldly spectacle of music and light dancing across nature, and immerse yourself in its wonder-filled festive magic.
Everyone needs a valid Eden admission ticket. Some ticket types include access to the Christmas Lights – check if you need to purchase a Christmas Lights Pass here.

Our Biomes will close at 3.15pm to day visitors before reopening between 4–8.30pm for Christmas Lights Pass holders.
Meet Father Christmas
21–22, 28–29 November; 4–6, 11–13, 17–24 December

Join the man in red along with his fun-loving elves as they take you on a magical journey in a brand new immersive experience. Packed with wonder, laughter, and theatrical surprises, this interactive adventure is designed to delight the whole family. Every child will share a magical moment with Father Christmas himself, complete with a timeless keepsake to treasure and a sweet marshmallow to toast on our fire pit. Plus, everyone will receive a ticket to enjoy a joyful spin on our classic carousel!
*All Father Christmas ticket holders require a valid Eden admission and the experience lasts around 45 minutes.

Our glittering ice rink has had a glow-up this season - so add an extra bit of sparkle to your Christmas visit, with sessions to suit all ages.

Celebrate with festive food and drink
Warm up with festive treats and hearty winter favourites in our cafés and restaurants. From freshly prepared family meals to homemade mince pies (or even a mulled tipple!), there’s plenty to enjoy between festive activities. On Christmas Lights evenings, most of our food venues serve until 7pm or 7.15pm, with food available in the Med Biome until 8pm.
We will also be serving up luxury Cornish Christmas lunches* every Thursday between 26 November and 17 December in the Mediterranean Biome.
*£46 per person and includes free entry to Eden.
Spin into Christmas Fun

Whirl into the magic of the season, with a ride on our beautiful Christmas Carousel. This traditional favourite is a truly festive experience, perfect for all the family.
Every Father Christmas Experience ticket holder receives one free ride. Height restrictions apply, and carousel may close during adverse weather.
Toast to seasonal cheer
On Christmas Lights evenings, enjoy the uplifting harmonies of local community choirs in the Link building between the Biomes, then head outside and gather around our fire pits for toasted S'mores.

Everyone needs a valid Eden Project admission ticket.
Locals’ Pass holders and Members need a Christmas Lights Pass, giving you unlimited visits until 2 January 2027 – and are free for children under 16. Some other ticket types include access to the Christmas lights. Check here to see if you need to book a Christmas Lights Pass.
You must pre-book a time slot* to Eden on the day of your visit to guarantee entry. However, you do not need to book a separate time slot for the Christmas Lights.
*If you are an Eden Project Member, you do not need to book timed entry for your visit.
You must pre-book a timed entry slot* on the day of your visit to guarantee entry, and aim to arrive within 30 minutes of that time. You do not need to book a separate time slot for the Christmas Lights. Last entry to the Eden Project is 90 minutes before we close, which is 7pm on Christmas Lights evenings. If you have a Christmas Lights Pass you can access the Biomes anytime between 4–8.30pm. If you’ve already arrived earlier in the day, there’s no need to leave and re-enter Eden. Last entry to the Biomes is 8pm on these evenings before they close at 8.30pm. We recommend allowing at least 1.5 hours to explore both Biomes.
If you have booked Father Christmas tickets or ice skating, make sure you book your timed entry slot at least 30 minutes before it starts, to allow time to make your way from the Visitor Centre to the experience.

We will be running relaxed sessions for Father Christmas, with fewer people, and more chance to explore at your own pace – designed for those with autism, sensory or communication needs in mind. Find out more.
Manual wheelchair users with a personal assistant are welcome on our ice rink. Pre-booking is essential: call 01726 811972 (Mon–Fri: 9.30am–4.30pm; Sat–Sun: 10am–2pm) or emailing guestservices@edenproject.com.

On Thursdays between 26 November and 17 December 2026, you can enjoy a luxury three-course Christmas dinner in the Mediterranean Biome – this dining experience must be pre-booked.
We cater for vegetarians, vegans, meat-eaters, gluten-free diets, and those with other dietary requirements. Please tell a member of staff if you have particular dietary requirements and they'll do their best to help you.
