Winter workshops

We request all bookings are made prior to midday of the day before the workshop takes place.

If personal assistance is required for any participant, we welcome support guests into the Tipi and Core Gallery. The support guest must be pre-booked and costs £5, which covers a lunch voucher, however does not include participation in the workshop itself.

Yes, please adhere to the below age advisories:

• Wreath making on 24 Nov – suitable for those aged 13 and over 
• Textile wreath making on 25 Nov – suitable for those aged 16 and over
• Mosaic ornament making on 26 Nov – suitable for those aged 7 and over
• Clay seed bomb making on on 27 and 28 Nov – suitable for those aged 17 and over
• Lino print cards and decorations on 2 Dec – suitable for all ages

In all instances, any participants aged 17 or under must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18+) also participating in the workshop.

Our Winter Workshops involve hands-on activities using potentially sharp objects and tools. For example shards of ceramic, cutting tools, sewing needles and florist wire.

With each workshop, a voucher for lunch and a soft drink is included. You will be given this voucher on arrival at the Visitor Centre when you check in. 

The voucher is redeemable in the Biome Kitchen (located on the ground floor of the building between the two Biomes) for any hot or cold meal and a cold drink. Any side dishes, hot drinks or sweet treats at lunch must be paid for additionally.

There will also be a hot drink and cake on arrival to fuel your creativity for the day!

The lunch and drink that are included with your workshop are in the form of a voucher which you may redeem in the Biome Kitchen. It offers a variety of options for all tastes and requirements. The wreath making, lino printing and mosaic ornament workshops all begin at 10am and include a lunch break. We recommend allowing until approximately 3pm for the full workshop. The artists will be available in the Tipi until 5pm so all participants are welcome to stay until then to complete their crafts.

The clay seed bomb making workshops are at 10am and 2pm and last for 2 hours. Both include lunch. If you’re booking the afternoon workshop you can visit Eden in the morning, enjoy your complimentary lunch and attend the workshop.

The Tipi and Core Gallery are fully wheelchair accessible.

Yes! Members receive a 10% discount on our Winter Workshops. This will automatically be added once you log in to your account and select your chosen Workshop.

To take advantage of this offer, all visitors must pre-book their admission on our website prior to midday, the day prior to the workshop taking place. On arrival at the Eden Project, proof of age or student ID may be requested if applicable for the Passes and Tickets purchased.

The Eden winter workshops are subject to availability. Eden Tickets for the workshop are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The winter workshop Ticket is only valid for one day entry into Eden and one workshop, on the selected date. The Christmas workshop includes:

• Entry into Eden for the day
• The chosen workshop
• A lunch voucher valid for one main meal and a cold drink from the Biome Kitchen

Eden Project reserves the right to cancel the winter workshop. If the winter workshop experience is cancelled by Eden you will normally be offered a refund. Any transaction fees are not refundable in these circumstances.

Please note that all children visiting Eden must be accompanied by an adult.

Visitors are advised that not all areas may be operational on the day of their visit.

The winter workshop ticket excludes entry to any separately ticketed events.
