Mediterranean Biome Christmas Lunch

We are working on our 2026 menu, but to give you a taste, here's what was on the menu last year: 

Starters

• Lightly spiced parsnip soup, curried Cornish rapeseed oil, parsnip crisps (VG, DF, GF*, NF)
• Crispy confit pork belly, Growing Point herb and celeriac remoulade, Fowey Valley figgy pudding chutney, cherry apple (GF, DF, NF)

Mains

• Caramelised red onion, squash and spinach pithivier, cauliflower puree, herb dressing, fried sage (VG, DF, GF*, NF)
• Roasted fillet of locally caught sustainable fish, leek and chive rosti, roasted tomato and saffron dressing, crispy leeks (GF, DF, NF)
• Roasted turkey breast served with Pen‘n’tinny sausage, crisp prosciutto, pork, apricot and sage stuffing with turkey gravy (GF, DF, NF)

All served with roast potatoes, and maple and thyme roasted winter vegetables (GF, DF, VG, NF)

Desserts

• Dark chocolate and orange delice, blood orange gel, caramelised orange, chocolate soil (VG, DF, GF, NF)
• Traditional Christmas pudding, brandy cream sauce, crystalised redcurrants (GF*)
• Mulled wine poached berries, Roskilly’s cherry sorbet (VG, DF, GF)

Enjoy complimentary entry to the Eden Project from 10am. We'd recommend arriving at Eden by 11.15am, to give you plenty of time to get to the Mediterranean Biome. 

Your welcome drinks will be served at 11.45am, with lunch beginning promptly at midday. The meal will finish around 2.45pm, after which you’re free to explore Eden until we close at 8pm.

Please note the Biomes close at 3.15pm for evening preparations. From 4pm to 8pm, you’ll need a Christmas Lights Experience ticket to re-enter the Biomes.

There’s still plenty to enjoy throughout the day, including the Outdoor Gardens, the Core Building, our food venues and ethical gift shop. You can also add some extra festive fun with a session on our ice rink, available to book during the day and evening.

Our Mediterranean Biome has a temperate climate, which can be as cool as 9°C at times, so we recommend wrapping up in cosy layers.

Due to the natural environment, you may experience drips and encounter flora and fauna that live within the Biome. 

Once you have booked, you will be sent an email within 24 hours (please check your spam folder) with links to pre-book your food and to let us know if you have any dietary requirements. Please complete and submit these details at least two days before the date of your meal. If you don't receive this email, please contact Guest Services on 01726 811950 or guestservices@edenproject.com.

We cater for vegetarians, vegans, meat-eaters and gluten-free diets, as well as other dietary requirements. If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact eventsandfunctions@edenproject.com.

Yes! To provide you with the best possible service, we ask you share any access requirements you may have when booking your lunch, and please let us know if you will be using a wheelchair so we can ensure we accommodate accordingly. If a personal assistant is required for any diner, we welcome support guests. Personal assistants will not be provided with a meal, unless they also pre-book lunch.

Assistance dogs are welcome and water is available for them around the site. Find out more about bringing dogs to the Eden Project.

Unfortunately not. Lunches must be pre-booked at least eight days in advance.

Payment is required in full to secure your booking. Cancellations made up to 10 days prior to the lunch will receive a 50% refund, and any cancellations made after this point will not receive a refund. Please contact christmas@edenproject.com to cancel.
